How Far Away Are We, Really
Drive time is the thing families underestimate. You are not choosing a home once. You are choosing a drive you will make 2 or 3 times a week for years. A home 12 minutes away gets visited on a Tuesday for no particular reason. A home 40 minutes away gets visited on purpose, and less often. Both can work. You just want to decide that deliberately rather than discover it in year 2.

Coming from farther out? From the Northeast Heights, Four Hills, or the East Side we are 30 to 40 minutes depending on the hour. That is a real tradeoff and only your family can weigh it.
Here is the part worth knowing before you rule us out on distance. There are very few small-home memory care options in this metro. Most of what sits closer to you holds 50 to 120 residents. If what you want is 16 people in a house, where the same 2 caregivers see your mother on every shift and the overnight staff are awake, the closer options may not offer that at any distance.
Some families decide that is worth the drive. Others decide being 10 minutes away matters more, and that is a sound call too. Tell us where you are driving from and we will give you a straight answer, including telling you when a community closer to you is the better fit.

Coming From Albuquerque
Take Unser Boulevard north across the Rio Rancho line. We are at Cabezon and Unser, on Unser Blvd SE.
Most Westside families reach us in 15 to 25 minutes depending on the hour. Coming up Coors and across is often faster in the afternoon than the interstate.
Visiting hours are not a thing here. Families are part of the house, and you are welcome whenever you want to come.
